The question
Is There Nothing After Death?
Some believe that when we die, we roam the Earth as spirits either good or bad, such as in animism and voodoo.
Others claim that we live a life of doing good and evil and when we die, the good serves to advance us up the ladder of existence to higher and higher life forms and higher and higher people classes (castes) until we achieve Nirvana or a "oneness" with Brahman, as it is with the Hindu religion.
Still others like Buddhists, Taoists, Confucianists and Atheists believe that the life we live now is all that we experience and death is end of all experience, so we had better live by the right code to make the most of it i.e. Humanist Manifesto, Four Paths of Buddhism...(read more...)

Completely different gods or deities are then proffered in place of the Deity of Christianity, under the guise that the Bible was altered by wicked priests or that "pagan practices" have been adopted, etc. So then, how can one know if a particular group is Christian or a Cult? Say for instance,
But are they all really the same one? Or do they seem to contradict each other so decidedly that the option of claiming ALL are true is simply absurd?...(read more...)

Judaism
The first and most ancient of monotheistic faiths, Judaism is a vibrant belief system steeped in culture. As one Jewish author put it, "The primary thing in Judaism is 'doing', is action, is deed, is mitzvah. Because only the mitzvah makes the world a little less dissonant between what it is and what it ought to be.the whole programme of Judaism, the project of the Torah, is tikkun olam in the precise sense 'mending a fragmented, fractured, world' (read more...)Is Religion Superstition?
This is a question

Is God all-powerful?
If He is, can he use that power to create something that renders his power, powerless? This question is often communicated to demonstrate the supposed fallacy behind the concept of a Deity (whoever that might be) that is considered "all powerful" or "omnipotent" Those that ask this sort of question, usuall claim that if a being were to be all powerful then that being should be able to do ALL things INCLUDING making itself go out of existence...(read more...)
